To test the alarms we tampered with a meter, I did not receive a notification email regarding the tampered meter. We pulled the fuse and reversed the ct. I waited till the next day as I normally receive notifications throughout the night. I still did not receive a notification for thwe meter in question?

Any idea as to why?

According to your Inbox, you did receive the relevant notifications for this event on this meter.


Therefore your meter and notification criteria is correct.


The problem is therefore in the delivery of your email or sms.


When I then go to Report->Notification Report on your login, I can see that you're supposed to receive emails on Reverse Run (Software).


Therefore, the problem is actually in the email delivery.


When I look at the amount of notifications sent from pnpscada to you on email since 27 June 2014, I get 15470, and just for today, 2942.


To try to cut down on the number of email sent, I've changed your settings to start at 4am for emails, instead of midnight, and wait 5 minutes after the event before sending an email, instead of 30 seconds, so that it can put more notifications into one email.


But your maximum emails per day is still set to 10, which is probably good, so anything that happens after the tenth email on a given day gets lumped into the first email on the following day.
This means probably the first email you get every day has so many notifications in it, that it tells you to go look at your Inbox for clarity.



And we've already seen that it is in the inbox.
